Hi! I’m a Pittsburgh Wedding photographer, I also photograph maternity sessions. How exciting for Greg and April on their little one arriving soon! This will be their first child and the gender will be a surprise the day the child is born!  It was a cold, grey day in Pittsburgh, PA so we decided to do their maternity photographs in the colorful, warmth of Phipps Conservatory. As we made our rounds through the tropical forest, enjoying the greens we can’t get outdoors in January, I  photographed April enjoying her pregnancy.  We had talked for months about what dress she should wear, sending pictures back and forth but she just didn’t fell right in any of them.  If you’ve ever been a pregnant woman sometimes it’s hard to feel beautiful, even though it isn’t the case! So last minute the night before her maternity shoot was scheduled she ran to Macy’s and found this dress she adored. Comfortable and cute, it worked perfectly for her skin tone and the background colors of Phipps Conservatory. We had so much fun, Greg and April definitely felt a bit awkward at first considering they haven’t been photographed professionally since their wedding five years ago. By the end we were all laughing at the discomfort of being photographed!  We couldn’t have picked a better spot for beautiful photographs that they’ll treasure forever.
