In November of 2013 we met in a coffee shop. We had met a few weeks earlier online and it was time to meet each other in person. Not wanting the coffee date to end, we went for a long walk. While roaming about we talked about how nice it would be to go to the upcoming Light Up Night in Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, Hayley had to work. But, as fate would have it, her water heater broke that day, causing her to stay home from work and freeing her up to go on our first real date to Light Up Night.
Since that first night at the coffee shop, we’ve gone on many more long walks and adventures. Those adventures have led us deep into the woods, to the open door of an airplane wearing parachutes, and to the tops of mountains. Then, on top of one of those mountains in February of 2017 Jon asked, Hayley said “yes,” and on June 9th 2018 we embarked on our greatest journey. ~ Jon and Hayley
Jon and Hayley’s Wedding took place in Carnegie, PA. The ceremony was held at Church of the Atonement on Main Street. A quaint church with strict rules about no flash, no movement during the ceremony and sitting in the last pew as to not interrupt the ceremony with pictures. I was still able to capture some great shots.

The reception was great fun, the fun happened at The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh! A friend of Jon’s requested a bromance dance. Jon and his best man George obliged. It made for some great memories and laughs!

My favorite of this wedding is Hayley before the wedding. She was so excited and happy to be marrying Jon, it shows in the photographs! Also the wood flowers were beautiful! They were made by Sola Wood Flowers and her mother made them into beautiful bouquets!
